08/17/2010 - New York, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Bobby Thomson, famous for hitting the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" to give the New York Giants the 1951 NL Pennant, died Monday night at the age of 86.
The New York Daily News is reporting Thomson died peacefully at his home in Savannah, Georgia after enduring a decline in his health over the past few years.
